Annabel Zammit, Maltese artist and graphic designer

Planning for the inaugral JCup regatta is still going on while we monitor the Covid regulations in Malta. We will be providing the new event dates as soon as we are able to share them, but in the meantime we’re giving you a sneek peak behind the scenes at the bespoke prizes that will be presented to the winning teams.

RLR Yachting has commissioned local Maltese artist, Annabel Zammit, to create an orginal fine art print inspired by yachting in Malta. Annabel has exhibited at galleries and venues all over Malta and her work has been described as a celebration of dynamic media and a love for all things colour. The RLR Yachting brief for Annabel was to create a piece which celebrates sailing in Malta and the island’s maritime heritage, with a nod to Valletta’s status as a city by the sea. We will be revealing the special piece Annabel has created for the JCup regatta soon and winners will be presented with beautiful prints which can be framed to remember their win.

Annabel Zammit Maltese Art Studio

Annabel comes from a Finance turned Graphic design background; hopping from her Bachelor degree in Finance & Marketing to a Graphic Design journey at the Instituto Europeo Design (IED) in Milan. She’s worked on a number of exciting design projects over recent years however, as much as she loves Graphic Art she loves her off screen creations. Her recent focus has been experimenting with resin in particular; a gloss like substance which allows for a beautiful water-like texture. The Resin collection can be seen on her webshop here.
